Resources for Sailing Clubs

RYA guidance for club leadership on a return to activity. This guidance is not prescriptive, but more of a strategy that club committees can follow to assess risk, identify mitigation, then formulate polices for communication to the membership.

The RYA have also issued guidance on racing. This looks at alternative formats and technologies.

It may be helpful to consult other sailing clubs risk assessments and polices to see what learning can be shared. Whilst no two clubs are identical and all risk assessments will be unique, it can help to regularly review your club's policy and there is no doubt that good ideas about both identification of risk and provision of mitigation can be found at other clubs.

Below are links to risk assessments from a variety of sailing clubs for reference. This is not an endorsement of any particular risk assessment or plan, but to share ideas for tackling the Covid-19 risk at you sailing club.
